Aqueduct
Aqueduct
Diocletian’s aqueduct dates back to the very end of the 3rd century, and stretches for 9 km from the source of the Jadro river to Diocletian’s palace. In the 19th century, under the Austro-Hungarian rule, the aqueduct was restored and thus preserved from decay, and it was researched and documented in more detail.
The entire route of the aqueduct is a protected cultural monument and still supplies water to a large part of the Split agglomeration
