In order to permanently protect the solinka, as an endemic species, in 1984 the Jadro watercourse from the source to the Uvodi\u0107 bridge was declared a special ichthyological reserve. This reserve covers an area of about 78,000 m\u00b2, and considering its long history and large population, its ecosystem is quite sensitive.<\/p>\n

Special reserves are areas of land and\/or water bodies of special importance due to some of their natural value that need to be preserved. This protection means that what is allowed and what should not be done in the reserve is strictly regulated. For example, any construction and other interventions or any activity that would lead to the pollution and impairment of the quality of water or any activity that would endanger the solinka and Jadro\u2019s habitat is strictly prohibited. The only possible interventions are to maintain or improve the conditions of its life and protect the natural state of the river.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
